EZ RENTALS & SERVICES came to Recess in 2025 with the goal of transforming from a small regional flagging supply store with no online presence into a full-fledge, future-facing brand.  

The client selected a creative direction that veered away from a brutal exterior in favor of one that captures the brands’ straight-shooting, no-nonsense essence while also championing EZ’s neighborly humanity. 

The resulting work was built upon a strategic foundation that leans into the dependability, accountability, and trustworthiness that the company had come to embody since being formed in Salem, Oregon over 20 years ago.

To announce Nike’s “Cult Classics” collection, we were tasked with creating a launch film that generated buzz and also informed SNKRS consumers on the goal of the program. Brief to final asset delivery occurred within a three week period.
